FAQ – Custom Jewelry

1. What does “custom jewelry” actually mean?

Custom jewelry means a piece that is designed and made specifically for you, based on your ideas, needs, and preferences.
Unlike mass-produced jewelry, nothing is pre-made or kept in stock. Each piece starts from a blank design and is crafted step by step after discussing details such as style, materials, dimensions, and purpose.

Custom does not mean experimental. It means controlled, intentional, and personal.

2. Why is custom jewelry more expensive than ready-made pieces?

Because custom jewelry involves individual design work, manual craftsmanship, and production in very small quantities. There is no automation, no bulk material advantage, and no shortcuts. You are paying for time, skill, precision, and long-term durability rather than volume.

3. How does the custom jewelry process work?

The process starts with a conversation, not an order. We discuss your idea, references, materials, and expectations. After that, a clear design direction and price range are defined. Production begins only after everything is agreed upon. There is no pressure and no obligation at the first step.

4. Can you recreate or replicate an existing piece?

Yes, in many cases.
A replica is not a copy-paste process. Each piece is analyzed in terms of proportions, structure, and wearability, then recreated using appropriate techniques and materials. Minor adaptations may be required to ensure durability and proper fit.

5. How long does a custom jewelry piece take to make?

Production time depends on complexity, materials, and current workload.
On average, custom pieces take between 2 to 4 weeks from final approval to completion. There is no rush-production, as quality and precision require time.

The custom jewelry process follows a clear and structured path.
First, the idea and general design direction are discussed. Then, materials are selected and a price range is agreed upon.
After that, an initial model or design draft is prepared. Once the model is approved, production begins.
Each step is handled sequentially to ensure clarity, accuracy, and long-term quality.

6. What are the main steps of the custom jewelry process?

7. What happens if I am not sure or just want to ask a question?

That is completely fine.
The first contact is not a commitment or an order. You are welcome to ask questions, explore possibilities, or simply understand whether custom jewelry is right for you.
